After exhibiting individually for a number of years, we have now joined together to form a photographic partnership called Solstice.
Although we share a warm personal regard and a similar view of art, we are neither completely at home with ourselves nor with each other. Yet, we try to find ourselves and each other in our work.
While we have a deep respect for tradition with all its pliancy and multiplicity, we are no friends of conventionality with all its servile imitation and banality.
In our view, dialogue and collaboration are immensely fruitful and surprisingly revelatory.
The aim of Solstice is to offer tightly conceived collaborative exhibitions of thought-provoking imagery; juxtaposing film and digital photography in a single exhibition.
